March 16, 2011 - The League of Women Voters will moderate a public forum for candidates vying for a seat on the Mehlville Fire Protection District Board of Directors at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 24, in the multipurpose room of the Lindbergh Schools Administration Building, 4900 S. Lindbergh Blvd.
The public will have the opportunity to learn more about the candidates seeking election on Tuesday, April 5, to the MFPD board seat — which carries a six-year term — by hearing them speak and answer questions in a public forum.
The candidates are Michael Klund and incumbent Aaron Hilmer.
R.L Praprotnik is listed on the ballot but has dropped out of the race.
Call Newspapers is co-sponsoring the forum.
Aaron Hilmer has been endorsed for reelection to the Mehlville FPD Board of Directors by the MCTA.
